  • These guys are great!! I had a medium sized job where I wanted to install outdoor outlets and get power to an outdoor flood light that was installed years ago. My first call was to one of the larger companies in the area (starts with a C and rhymes with sorely). No knock on them, we are actually service plan members with them and love them for hvac and plumbing, but time and again have been floored with their electrical quotes. We figured we’d give them a chance and since we’ve used them so much it might be reasonable. Let’s just say I was disappointed again. Thankfully I had saved a business card from the company that became Mr. Electric and gave them a call because they had done good work for me before. I was a little thrown off by the name change but that didn’t last long when I recognized the same friendly voice on the call, and started to hear some familiar names that would come out and do the job. I figured I’d at least get an estimate. My job consisted of installing 4 outdoor lights and the big “C” company (without even going up into the attic) said running a power line to my flood light was, and to quote, impossible! So their quote was for 4 outlets. When Parks (great, great guy) showed up we started going over the outlets and he began making recommendations. He mentioned outdoor post lights they could put in, and new collapsible outdoor outlet covers. When I mentioned the power line to the floodlight he said “I believe that can be done” rather than an immediate “impossible”. He then looked at my breaker box and realized I had a 40 circuit box that was already overloaded and would have to be replaced. So big “C”s quote was for 4 outlets. Mr. Electrics quote was for 5 outlets (ended up adding another), installing a whole new 80 circuit breaker box, running the impossible power line to my floodlight, installing 2 post lights that involved burying a power line to, and placing much nicer looking collapsible outdoor outlet covers not only in my lights to be installed, but also all my prior outdoor outlets to match. This is no joke, Mr. Electric’s quote was $400 higher than big “C”s. And it’s not just cost. They got my job scheduled within the week and these guys were great. Nice, clean, friendly, professional. Little things popped up during the job and they made sure everything was taken care of. Even after the fact. Because they did such a great job I started brainstorming other stuff I needed. This time Leo came out. Parks I knew from the prior company, but Leo was new to me. Every bit as knowledgeable and professional as Parks. Needless to say I’m very happy with the experience. I’d recommend these guys without hesitation. At the very least, it’s probably worth getting a quote especially if you want something to compare to the big companies in the area. I’m traveling now so don’t have pics but will upload some shortly.
